Vivian Marmol, a Fraud Investigator with the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, is the sole investigator in Merrimack Valley dedicated to combatting public assistance fraud. Prior to her role with DTA, she served as an Investigator in the Bureau of Special Investigations Unit at the Office of the State Auditor, where she handled fraudulent claims and recommended legal actions.

Outside the office, Vivian's commitment to education shines through her position as a School Committee Member for Greater Lawrence Technical School, contributing to the initiation of the Aviation Program. Additionally, she served as Vice Chair for the Lawrence Redevelopment Authority, playing a pivotal role in revitalizing Lawrence.

Vivian holds a Master’s degree in Justice Studies with a focus on Public Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and her passion lies in creating a positive impact in her community. In the 2019 Municipal Election, she ran for the Greater Lawrence Technical School Committee, earning the votes of 1,895 constituents. As a proud graduate of GLTS, she is determined to be a voice for students in Lawrence, working collaboratively with local leaders to ensure their academic and technical training success..
